With semester 3 officially beginning, those weekly blogging exercises are definitely back. BCM 240’s media, audience and place, taught by our very own Mr.Faisal includes several attempts on serious writing and how the term spatial, its audience and media can be influenced by one another. In the most recent class, Mr.Faisal had justified the weekly outline with his little brief on the modules we are about to cover over the semester.
His ideas regarding the difference to a person reading a newspaper at home did vary from one reading it on the train. He explained how spatial backgrounds could impact differently to the use of gadgets and printed media while affecting the audience at the same time. Though the class had been a short one, the topics directed seemed pretty interesting and having to learn it would be quite exquisite. Plus, this subject of ours doesn’t include an exam. Instead, we are offered to create a podcast as our last assignment to this subject. This definitely would come in handy someday, thanks to BCM240!
